which is AWESOME. I read through just about all of his descriptions (though not all of the recipes) while sitting in Barnes and Noble. The way he talks about the science of cooking and the way he explains things precisely but with large doses of humor make this an amusing and interesting read whether or not you enjoy cooking. If you like grilling, you'll definitely enjoy his suggested mod for your standard kettle grill, not to mention the 'ice cube test' for cooking the perfect steak.

He talks about turkeys and roasts and all SORTS of great things, not to mention adding a sweet selection of trivia related to everything from how Henry Ford was an contributing factor to the Kingsford charcoal fortune, and how Buoys became the perfect kettle grill.

I've always enjoyed watching his show on "The Food Network" and now I'll enjoy his books as well. I'm thinking about getting his DVD collection, but it's a little steep.
