over the weekend, and wow, Jim Butcher continues to amaze.

I am completely enjoying the fact that the farther into the series we get, the more complex Harry's world becomes, with each novel layering new and stacking complexity to the overall story arch while still maintaining a pat, internal arch within itself.

While the progression of each story is somewhat formulaic (since there have been a number of suggestions regarding a drinking game around the upcoming tv series, it is evident that a number of things can be expected to happen), Butcher continues to add elements of the unexpected to deepen the overall saga of Dresden and his cohorts.

I certainly hope that Jim holds to his promise (threat?) that he still has several more books in him where Harry is concerned, as I look forward to each one with anticipation
