40 weeks and counting

We're still around and waiting for the big moment. At our last visit, the midwife checked my status and not much was happening. The doctor ran a few tests to check for enough amniotic fluid and make sure the baby's heart was fine. Both tests were quite good. They should have been considering I was only one day past my duedate.

Anyhoo, I called Friday my last day of work. I'll try to take it easy, get a few naps and read a little bit. I can spread out the housework a little so I don't have to feel like I have a lot to do all at once. I'd like to get a few good walks in while the weather is good this week. After the cold, snowy weather earlier in the week, temperatures in the mid to upper fifties sound pretty good.

I went for another massage this morning and talked Chuck into getting one too. I'm glad he agreed to do that for himself. He's usually preoccupied with making sure that I'm okay that he doesn't take very good care of himself. We both left the spa feeling like noodles.

Hopefully I have some baby news to report this next week.
