This is of course just a best guess, but I did just spend the weekend with her in the car and all we listened to on this trip was kids music.
5. Itsy Bitsy Spider
4. Happy Feet (answering the age old queston of "Can the Frog Tap Dance?" The answer is "Hit it!")
3. Mahna-Mahna
2. My Bonnie Lies over the Ocean (Sung in our house as "My Bobby Lies over the Ocean")
1. Listen to the Sounds - Sesame Beginnings song featuring Praire Dawn and her mommy (we sing this song almost every night before bed)
We had a good weekend with my family. We spent the weekend up in the Cities celebrating Easter and Birdy's first birthday.
So this weekend we joined the local YMCA. We went down on Sunday afternoon, took the tour and signed up then. I've been wanting to join a gym for a while now and had a couple of options, but this is really the best us. It offers up to two hours of drop-in child watch so I can workout just about anytime and there are people available to watch Magoo while I do so. I can even get my shower in and maybe do my hair (gasp). Rachel and I tested it out on Monday morning and we really enjoyed ourselves. I'm told that she was a really good girl and I felt a lot better after some Cardio and a shower. I'm a happy mommy.
Being able to exercise on a regular basis (no matter the weather)is going to help me reduce stress, sleep better and get back to my weight goal. Not only can Chuck and I work out together again on the weekends, but I have several women from my parenting group that have offered to meet me there. That's good incentive. Although, I'm really excited to have some time all to myself as well.
