which is REALLY REALLY long. I agree with others that have suggested that it reflects the literary style of the time period in which it was set. This is the first Fantasy novel that I have ever read that uses footnotes (adnauseum) for God's sake. It's an interesting story written as a biography that gives an old stodgey slant to a Potter-esque reality.
