I'm curious.... have you started building again with LEGO bricks? That's the great thing about youth... it has no age limit. :)

I hadn't built with them in a while, but with all my nieces and nephews running around now, it's only natural that we start using them again. I started wondering if there were any cool, adult oriented building books out there, and I think the next day, I got my ThinkGeek email and it was in there.

My intent was that it be suitable for people exactly like yourself, as well as kids and their parents. It is a much a reflective field guide of the hobby as an instructive manual of tips and techniques.
I'm glad to hear that you found it via ThinkGeek. That was a site I suggested to my publisher and they were one of the first sites aside from Amazon to pick it up for sale.
