Flippin Sweet Dance Instruction

Nothing says "I got skillz" (you know, nunchaku skills, bow hunting skills, you know...skills) like learning to dance like the big wolverine hunter himself.

Check THIS out.

The Sentra

I just don't get it. I don't know what Sara and I are going to do about this one.

I thought that if I didn't have a car over the holidays we would avoid my curse, but it just wasn't to be. We were already pretty much backed into a corner financially from the wedding and life in general, but now it seems that the head gasket has gone bye-bye on the sentra and it will probably cost close to $1500 to fix it. We were terrified when we thought it was going to be a water pump at $500, but three times that amount is just impossible for us. This was supposed to be the first month of our upward climb, as it is the first month that we will have NO car payment at all. But that's not true, the car payment for this month just quintupled, it's just not going to the bank.

And it's not just that. Work is putting a considerable amount of pressure on me, and while I'm honored that they might want me to go down to Brazil to help with the transition (that or no one else wanted to go...*shrug* who knows), the time schedules involved are extremely tight, and where I thought I was going to have time with my wife this weekend to look for a solution for the fact that we might have to break our lease and move to control costs, now I have to spend my weekend at the key board.

Just once I'd like to have a nice, easy holiday where I wasn't looking over my shoulder about a freaking car.

Child's Play

Gabe and Tycho over at Penny Arcade have launched this year's Child's Play site. With all of the negative press about gamers and people who use / play with computers, this is the perfect opportunity to show the media and our detractors EXACTLY what kind of good we can do.

Please, head over there, read their site and donate to help sick children all over the globe.

It's just amazing what two guys with a dream can create when they have access to a little technology and a huge following of folks with really big hearts.
